84th Annual Conference
Past, Present & Future of Medical Imaging
Our Annual Conference will be held April 8th-9th, 2015 at The Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center in Westford, Mass. Buzz Bowl 2015 will begin on April 7th. Please see full conference details below:
Philip W. Ballinger will be our Keynote Speaker for our 84th Annual Conference. Phil has served as founding Director and Assistant Professor of the Radiologic Technology Division at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio for 25 years. Following an early retirement in May of .1 995, Phil continues to serve OSU as a Professor Emeritus.
Linda Lefave of Quinsigamond Community College has graciously agreed to be our 2015 Florence Wakefield Lecturer. Every other year, the MSRT Board nominates and votes on a member who has gone above and beyond for the advancement of our profession and society.
The hotel will offer MSRT Conference attendees a reduced rate of $110 per night/double occupancy. The reduced rate will be available until March 19th, 2015. “Buzz Bowl 2015″
Preliminary games will begin on Tuesday, April 7th 2015 at 12:30 PM. Games will resume on, Wednesday, April 8th with the semifinals & finals being held on Thursday, April 9th. The awards will be presented to the first, second and third place teams during the Business Luncheon on Thursday.
The MSRT will host its first student t-shirt contest & will announce the winner at the cocktail hour after the last lecture on Wednesday, April 8th. Show your school spirit & throw your t-shirt into the ring!

We will announce the winner of the “Show Your School Spirit” t-shirt contest so come join us!
We will host our dance on Wednesday Evening from 8:00 PM-12:00 AM with DJ Brad & Red Sox Tickets being awarded to the Best Dressed attendee. Technologists come show the students what is was like in the 80’s!

“Scholarships & Awards”
We are pleased to offer the Florence Wakefield Scholarship at our 2015 Annual Conference. Florence is honored for her dedication to our society and to our profession. In addition, the Quarter Century Club will offer 2 Scholarships as a result of it’s members generosity. If you are interested in applying for one of our Entry Level Scholarships, please email a completed application to the MSRT office by February 27th, 2015.
For technologists furthering their education, we will be offering the “James Lampka Presidential Scholarship” as well as administer the scholarship process for the “Kathy Tabor McEwan Presidential Scholarship” which is sponsored by by her “Friends in Radiology”.
“Scientific Papers & Exhibits”
We are please to host our 2015 Scientific Paper & Exhibit Contest once again at our 83rd Annual Conference. To submit a paper or exhibit, please email a completed 2015 Scientific Paper-Exhibit Submission Packet to the MSRT Office. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Are you interested in volunteering at our 84th Annual Conference? The Conference Committee meets regularly & would love to have you sit in on a meeting and share your opinions. If you are a student volunteer, please email a completed Student Volunteer Application to the MSRT office at email@example.com. If you are a technologist, please email your availability to the MSRT office. We need speaker introductions, lecture ticket collections, Buzz Bowl attendants, and much more. We’d love to have you on board!
